Tank #1.

Tank and furniture all-in-one.

This aquarium includes a furniture with storage space below. It's made with a Jarrah coloured wood. It has 2 internal filters and a heater, as well as an external Jebao 304 filter.

It's decorated with two medium-sized stones, 3 sea snail shells, one bivalve shell, 2 pieces of wood and a grey and pink stone. The soil is natural gravel.

It's located between the living room and the bar of the kitchen, dividing the two areas.

Ancistrus is a genus of freshwater fish in the family Loricariidae of order Siluriformes. Fish of this genus are commonly known as the bushynose or bristlenose plecs. It's a good algae eater.

Botia almorhae.

Yoyo loach, Almora loach or Pakistani loach.

Yoyo loaches have a peculiarity in feeding, in which when they feed from the surface of the water, they generate 'clicking' noises. These same sounds can sometimes be noted while they are swimming. These clicking sounds are generated when the loach (which can extract oxygen from air) swallows air, which is forced through the gills.

Siamese algae eater.

Crossocheilus siamensis is a very fast, slim algae eater. It is one of the few fish that eat red algae, and for that reason is used in aquariums to control these algae. It can jump out of the aquarium if not properly covered.
